CHRYSANTHEMUM STONE PALM STONE

The official symbol of the Chinese Imperial Royal Family! Chrysanthemum Stone- also known as, 'The Flower Stone' and 'The Stone of Wealth & Honour'! The patterns on the these stones, resemble the well loved, Chrysanthemum flower!

These stones are sometimes carved out, to show their definition! Some pieces are so detailed that they sell for thousands of pounds!

These radial crystals are estimated to be over 200 million years old and were formed in ocean water that evaporated over time, due to hot temperatures, leaving behind layers of compressed, organic rich mud! The mineral composition and environment is detriment to forming these beautiful, Chrysanthemum flowers!

It is was originally only found in China and Japan, but some sources in Canada have recently been located!
