Larimar is a rare material, only found in the Dominican Republic, but a similar material known as Pectolite, can be found in the US. Larimar is the name for this type of Pectolite, that resides from the Dominican only! 

When it was first mined, the colours of Larimar were white, brown and green. This colour scheme can still be found today, but what is most prized of all, is the luscious, aquatic blues and lagoon pooling patterns!
